Whether youâre a runner, walker, gym-goer, or just trying to move more and sit less, Cedarburg is packed with ways to stay activeâand actually enjoy it.
At Evolv Physical Therapy & Performance, we believe movement is medicine. So we put together this go-to list of active things to do during the week and on weekends right here in Cedarburg (and a few nearby spots we love too!).
Letâs make this week one that feels good in your bodyâno boring treadmill required.
đââď¸ WEEKDAY WAYS TO MOVE
1. Take a Call while Walking on the Interurban Trail
Take your phone call while walking on the Interurban Trail. Whether you're starting at Cedar Creek Park or near Grafton, itâs an easy way to get steps in while getting things done.
⥠Mobility bonus: Add walking lunges or hip openers along the way.
Check out more information on the Interurban Trail here: https://www.interurbantrail.com/
2. Lunch Break Pickleball at Adlai Horn Park
Grab a paddle and a friend! Cedarburg has some great outdoor courts for a quick, sweaty lunch break session. (And yes, we can help if your knees or shoulder bark afterward.)
Check out more information on Adlai Horn Park here: https://www.cityofcedarburg.wi.gov/parks-recreation-and-forestry/slideshows/adlai-horn-park-photos
OR
Bike to The Daily Dose in Cedarburg! One of our favorite smoothies is the Berry Banana
Check out their hours and menu here (trust us... you will be drooling): https://www.dailydosejuicebar.com/
3. Sunset Yoga or Mobility in Cedar Creek Park
Bring a mat (or just use the grass) and flow through 10â15 minutes of mobility work under the trees or by the creek. Itâs the perfect way to reset after a busy workday.
⥠Try: Deep squat holds, cat-cow, and 90/90 hip rotations.

4. Visit the Cedarburg Community Pool for Lap Swim
Water is a great way to mix up your workouts and give your joints a break. Cedarburgâs pool has open swim and adult lap times on weekday mornings and evenings.
⥠Great cross-training for runners and anyone rehabbing an injury.

đ WEEKEND ADVENTURES & ACTIVE FUN
5. Saturday Morning Run + Coffee
Hit one of Cedarburgâs beautiful routes (like the Ozaukee Interurban Trail or Covered Bridge Park paths), then reward yourself with a local brew from Cedarburg Coffee Roastery (Be sure to try their Cedarburg blend) or Fiddleheads (LOVE their iced white mocha).
⥠Pro tip: Bring a buddy, dog, or stroller crew.

6. Bike Ride from Cedarburg to Grafton
Cruise the Interurban Trail or explore the scenic backroads between Cedarburg and Grafton. Pack water, wear a helmet, and make a stop for lunch at Juiceâs Ghost Town (Love a good Friday Fish Fry here)Â or Foxtown Brewing (Definitely try their big pretzel)
⥠Not into biking? Walk part of the trail and still enjoy the scenery.

7. Explore Lionâs Den Gorge Nature Preserve
Just a short drive away in Grafton, this hidden gem has boardwalks, bluffs, and stunning Lake Michigan views. Take your time, bring a picnic, and stretch those legs.
⥠Ideal for family hikes, romantic walks, or solo mental resets.

8. Stretch & Shop Downtown Cedarburg
Turn a day of shopping and strolling into an active outing. Walk the length of Washington Avenue, check out shops, and donât forget to stop at Amyâs Candy Kitchen (Of course for one of their caramel apples).
⥠Mix in standing calf raises, toe taps, or shoulder rolls between shops.
