Hey Mamas! 👋
We asked Abbey from The Mama Gathering Co. to share her family’s most-loved toys — and she delivered the cutest list ever. So we turned her favorites into a simple, mama-approved gift guide just for you!

1. Picasso Tiles: These are the same as magnatiles, but a FRACTION of the price!
2. Anything Little People: So many different options to choose from- these Disney princess ones are just too cute!
3. Figurines: Especially the Schlerch animal sets!
4. Kwik Stix Tempera Painters: These are great washable paint sticks! They are fast drying, non-toxic, safe for all ages, and are allergen-free (no nuts, eggs, gluten, soy, dairy, or sesame)
5. Yoto Player & Cards: A screen-free Bluetooth audio player! It plays stories, music, podcasts, and is a radio! You can use it as a speaker or with headphones. The best part of it, you can play recordings of your own voice reading a favorite bedtime story or song! Great for when you are away or for a grandparent or other loved one to record their voice!
6. Kitchen & Play Food: Our little ones always want to do what we are doing, right? This adorable wooden food set is made from high-grade, non-toxic wood. It comes with wooden knives, cutting boards, and cuttable food toys. Great for working on motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and logical thinking.
7. Water Spray Bottle & Rags: Abbey says that her little gals LOVE to help clean… and with this, they clean allll the time. LOL
Also, spray bottles are great for strengthening hand/finger muscles & improving hand-eye coordination.
8. Daniel Tiger & Biscuit Books: Love these books so much, especially Daniel Tiger. These are great stories about trying new things, being gentle, and even big milestones (such as a new baby in the house/becoming a big sibling)
9. Doctor Set: We love some imaginative play! Let your little run the ‘shots’ and feel like they are the Doc. Perfect to chat about what to expect at a doctor’s appointment.
10. Flashlights: Such a simple thing, but can be incorporated into many different activities. Use for flashlight tag, shadow puppets, hide and seek, scavenger hunt, shadow tracing, flashlight fort, and so much more!
11. Watercolors & Paint Smocks: Pretty self-explanatory! These paint smocks are the best though- easy to wipe clean, protects your kiddo’s clothes, and they are machine washable!

12. Toddler Digital Camera: Entertain the whole family with this one. Let the kiddos take the pictures (even in selfie mode)! This is great because it prints out the picture right away. Abbey said that it definitely gives her family a good laugh and the photos she gets are so cute to see it from your kiddos perspective!
13. Water Bottles: Abbey says that her family loves the small hydroflasks! These are leakproof & dishwasher safe!
14. Balance Bike: These bikes have no pedals, but they help kiddos learn how to balance and essential riding skills on any terrain. These bikes grow with your kiddo, the seat and the handlebar heights on the bike adjust to accommodate ages 1-4.
If we missed one of your family’s favorites, let us know — we’re always looking for more mama-approved ideas!
