We work for our clients…not insurance companies!

At Evolv, we are an out-of-network clinic and we do not bill insurance companies directly. This allows us to be fully transparent about the cost and make decisions based on what's best for our clients.

The business model necessary for an in-network or insurance-based PT practice does not support the treatment model that we follow.

What the heck does that mean??  Therapists in clinics that bill insurance have to see at least 2 patients per hour (usually many more) and use technicians to apply multiple modalities like ultrasound and e-stim. They must do this because insurance companies tend to reimburse these clinics only about half of what they bill.  We believe (and research-based evidence shows) that modalities are not nearly as effective the combination of hands-on-treatment and exercise. We also do not agree with having patients pay to perform exercises repetitively during the session that they can easily perform at home.

In many ways, insurance companies dictate (or at least influence) the treatment that patients receive at these clinics, and we refuse to allow this to be the case at Evolv because we work for our clients, not insurance companies.  Each of our clients receives 1-on-1 care and hands-on treatment, which is one of the reasons the results are so much more effective than the norm.  When you consider the time savings of fewer trips to the clinic and the value of resolving your pain so much faster than normal, we believe our business model is superior.

Helpful Tips:

- You can use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) if they cover physical therapy.

- Ask about our Treatment Packages! Almost all of our clients utilize these packages because they cost less per session and allow us to commit to you and you to commit to your plan of care in order to ensure a positive outcome and experience.

- After each session, a Superbill is available. A Superbill is a receipt with all of the information needed by an insurance company to be able to reimburse you through your out-of-network benefits.
